Have your child cross off each item when it's finished. Kids get a sense of accomplishment from knowing they've completed a whole list of activities.

When the day's list is successfully finished, offer your teen a reward. Pop a movie into the DVD player or go out for ice cream.

Your child's time management skills might not improve overnight. But if you stick with these steps and stay consistent, eventually your tween or teen will get much more efficient at doing homework, chores, and other daily activities.
