What Can I Do About Pet Allergies?

If you’re determined to have a four-legged friend:

    • Keep it out of the bedroom and off of furniture.
    • Replace your carpet with tile or hardwoods.
    • Vacuum with a HEPA filter and use a HEPA air purifier to trap dander.
    • Try to have someone who doesn’t have allergies brush the pet regularly, outside.
    • Bathe the pet once a week.
    • Talk to your doctor about allergy treatment.
