Choosing a Fertility Specialist

When you're trying to conceive, you want to have a trusted fertility specialist to be with you all the way. How do you find the best doctor for you? WebMD guest expert Hyacinth Nicole Browne, MD, has a few tips.

  1. Ask friends, family, and doctors for suggestions. Other people who have had infertility issues can be your best resource.
  2. Ask about a clinic's live-birth success rates. After all, your goal is to have a baby!
  3. Meet with a few specialists to see who feels right. Bedside manner really matters.

How did you find your fertility specialist? What experiences have you had?
