10 Questions to Ask Your Doctor About Pregnancy

Going to the doctor can be intimidating. You might feel rushed and forget to ask questions about your pregnancy that are important. It's always a good idea to know what to ask beforehand and to take notes when with your obstetrician or midwife. Some of the questions below may be worth asking. 1. When is my baby due?

2. Should I take vitamins or make any dietary changes during pregnancy?

3. How physically active can I be while pregnant?

4. Under what circumstances should I call you right away?

5. Are there any medications that I am allowed to take?

6. (For smokers) Can you help me to quit smoking?

7. Given my family history, are there special tests you think I should have?

8. (For women with pre-existing conditions) What are my primary health concerns during pregnancy?

9. Do you foresee any complications in my pregnancy?

10. What can I do to help ensure a healthy pregnancy?
