Restless Legs Syndrome Directory

Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) is a "pins and needles" feeling in the legs that creates an irrestible urge to move the legs. This can cause sleeplessness and pain in the legs during the day. In older adults, symptoms can be more severe than in younger RLS patients. Restless legs syndrome may be related to conditions such as anemia and neuropathy. It can also be attributed to pregnancy, smoking, fibromyalgia, and other conditions. RLS treatments include reducing nicotine and caffeine in your diet, treating underlying conditions, physical therapy, and exercise, along with other recommendations. Follow the links below to find WebMD's comprehensive coverage about how restless legs syndrome is caused, how to treat it, and much more.
