Parathyroid Cancer Treatment - Treatment Options for Parathyroid Cancer

Localized Parathyroid Cancer

Treatment of localized parathyroid cancer may include the following:

  • Surgery (en bloc resection).
  • Surgery followed by radiation therapy.
  • Radiation therapy.
  • Supportive care to treat hypercalcemia (too much calcium in the blood).
