    Grade is reported in registry systems. A two-, three-, or four-grade system may be used. If not specified, the following system is generally used:[1]

    • GX: Grade cannot be assessed.
    • G1: Well differentiated.
    • G2: Moderately differentiated.
    • G3: Poorly differentiated.
    • G4: Undifferentiated.
