I am a professional organizer by trade. I was feeling quite terrible helping people with their clutter, when I was struggling with mine.

Then I found that organizing was difficult for a lot of people with MS.

Since I found that out, I decided I wanted to help others with MS get things in order despite our "bad" days. I am still working on a way to make this work. I have thought about speaking at support groups as well as offering discounts on my online course, but I am still thinking of ways that I can help my fellow MS-ers.

Thankfully, I won't have to give up my career. See, I have been able to utilize the Internet as a virtual business owner. I can work from my laptop in bed on days when I don't feel up to getting out of bed. I can answer questions, grade papers, and send encouragement by means of email and instant messages.

Although I have been diagnosed with MS -- I have come to the conclusion that it is a part of my life -- but NOT my life. I do know that I feel better about myself since being diagnosed. I understand why certain things have happened to me, I can be more of an encouragement to others, and I can relate to more people who really need it.
