Biography
Michael C. Fiore, MD, MPH
Michael C. Fiore, MD, MPH, is director of the Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention and a professor of medicine at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. Fiore worked as a medical epidemiologist at the United States Office on Smoking and Health, where he contributed to a wide range of national research, educational, and policy projects, and is trained as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He received his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College in Maine and his medical degree from Northwestern University.
