Biography

The author of the widely acclaimed books Raising a Handicapped Child and Raising a Child With a Neuromuscular Disorder, Charlotte E. Thompson, MD, is director of the Center for Handicapped Children and Teenagers in San Francisco and an assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of California at San Diego. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
