Robert Allen is responsible for managing the copy desk at WebMD and editing news stories, features, newsletters, and other content for WebMD and WebMD the Magazine.

After receiving his bachelor's degree in astronomy, Allen switched tracks and earned a master's degree in journalism from the University of Kansas. He worked as a copy editor at the St. Joseph (Mo.) News-Press before coming to WebMD in 1999.
