James Zins, MD

James Zins, MD, is a graduate of Princeton University and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Zins served his internship, general surgery residency, and residency in plastic surgery at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a maxillofacial fellowship at Great Ormond Street and University College Hospital in London.

He joined The Cleveland Clinic in 1983 and was appointed chairman of the department of plastic surgery in 1992. He also serves as an associate professor of surgery at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Zins serves on numerous committees of plastic surgery societies and has written more than 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals in plastic surgery as well as numerous book chapters. 

Board certified in plastic surgery, Zins specializes in facial cosmetic surgery and craniomaxillofacial surgery. He has been listed as a life member of the National Registry's Who's Who, in Best Doctors in the Midwest.
