Leona is a writer and PR hack by trade, and a six-year veteran of WebMD's Community and Membership team. Before coming to work for WebMD, she cut her community teeth at iVillage. Leona has an extensive background in magazine writing and editing, largely in the sports genre.

She also considers herself a decent amateur photographer, and has even managed to get a few photos published over the years.

As a mom of three, Leona spends most of her free time running one child or another to a practice, a school event, or a doctor's visit. But when she finds herself with a little downtime, she enjoys giving in to that vehicle that regularly suspends our disbelief – the television.

One of Leona's favorite TV genres is the medical show. Her all-time favorite is ER. After taking a few months of viewing off last year to mourn the loss of Noah Wylie, Leona is once again back to her weekly Thursday night addiction. She also makes time for a few other favorites: Boston Legal, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, Dancing with the Stars, Heroes, and Battlestar Galactica. Where's that TIVO when you need it?
