The National Kidney and Urologic Diseases Information Clearinghouse (NKUDIC) is an information and referral service of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), National Institutes of Health. A central information source on the prevention and management of kidney and urologic diseases, the clearinghouse responds to written inquiries, develops and distributes publications about kidney and urologic diseases, and provides referrals to kidney and urologic organizations.

This is a voluntary health organization that works to provide financial assistance, comprehensive educational programs, research grants and community service projects for the benefit of kidney patients.

A listserv is a discussion of a particular topic, which may be mediated by a specific individual. Listservs are conducted entirely through email, although they may be archived in other parts of the Internet. When you subscribe you will receive a message that confirms your subscription. This message will also contain the information about how to unsubscribe -- this is vital, so store it in a good place on your mail server.
