| You don't have to give up wine when trying to drop a few extra pounds, but keep this in mind next time you reach for that glass of chardonnay.
Wine has about 70-75 calories per serving, but a "serving" is only 3.5 ounces. If you figure that 3,500 calories equals a pound of extra weight, you can see what difference the wine would make in say a month or year. If each glass is 100 calories and you have two glasses a day, this would be 73,000 calories over a year -- or 20 extra pounds in a year. | ||
