Denise Dym, senior director of audience engagement, leads the team responsible for serving WebMD’s users by selecting the best content to appear on the home page, health and wellness centers, newsletters, mobile site, and social outlets. By understanding what health and wellness topics resonate and are important for our users, her team is able to deliver the content where and when it can have the most impact.
Dym has been with WebMD for more than 11 years, initially working with clients on strategic sponsorship programs before moving over to the editorial and programming organization.
Prior to WebMD, she worked at the national office of the Arthritis Foundation, where she worked with national corporate partners to further research and educational efforts through corporate sponsorships and partnership campaigns. Early on in her career, she worked at health care advertising agencies, creating educational and promotional campaigns for large clients.
Dym holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Albany.
