Magnetic resonance imaging
Pronunciation (mag-net-ik rez-uh-nuhns im-ij-ing)
- Also known as MRI. A test that produces high-quality images of the body's internal structures without the use of X-rays. MRI uses a large magnet, radio waves, and a computer to produce these images. []
