The Fresh Diet: How It Works
Although it's called a "diet," the Fresh Diet is actually a
calorie-controlled, meal delivery system that lacks fitness, diet, and

Most clients stay with the program for at least two months to meet their
weight loss goals, Duchman says. Many clients, especially busy professionals,
follow the program for 3-6 months, he says. At any time, clients can adjust
their calorie levels or the number of meals ordered.

Fresh Diet: What the Experts Say
The Fresh Diet is a great way to get healthy, portion-controlled meals
delivered to your door, says chef Sarah Krieger, MPH, RD, a spokeswoman for the
American Dietetic Association.
"Think of this plan as an investment in your health," Krieger says. "Pay
attention to the portion sizes, types of foods served, and how it is prepared
so you can use the plan to get a jump-start on eating healthy at home or in
restaurants when you come off the plan."
Krieger cautions dieters to be careful not to sabotage the diet by eating
additional foods or drinking calorie-laden beverages.
