    What Are the Symptoms of Hemorrhoids?

    Hemorrhoids may or may not cause symptoms. Symptoms may include:

    • Pain and discomfort around the anus
    • Moist, pink pads of skin protruding from the anus; sometimes they may appear purple or blue.
    • Bleeding from the anus
