Pregnant:

Possibly Safe: INSUFFICIENT HUMAN AND ANIMAL DATA

Nursing:

Precaution: MAY INHIBIT LACTATION. MOLECULAR WT LOW ENOUGH FOR POSSIBLE EXCRETION.

An adult over 60:

Precaution: (SOM)(BEERS) HIGH ANTICHOLINERGIC RISK;USE LOW DOSE; LONG-ACT.PREF.

Precaution: (SOM)(BEERS) ANTICHOLINERGIC; PREFERRED OVER IMMED.-RELEASE FORMS

Giving oxybutynin chloride to a child under 12:

Relative Contraindication: NO SAFETY AND EFFICACY ESTABLISHED AGE < 5 YEARS.

Relative Contraindication: NO SAFETY/EFFICACY AGE < 6 YEARS. DOSE FORM MUST BE SWALLOWED WHOLE.
