    Absolute Contraindication: ONE REPORT OF METABOLIC ACIDOSIS; RISK OF REYE'S SYND IN VIRAL ILLNESS

    Precaution: INSUFF DATA AVAIL; MOLECULAR WT LOW ENOUGH FOR POSSIBLE BREASTMILK EXCRETION

    Precaution: LIMITED DATA SUGGEST INCREASED DROWSINESS, AND IRRITABILITY

    An adult over 60:

    Precaution: (SOM)(BEERS) STRONG ANTICHOLIN.CAUT. W/BPH; MAX.25MG/DAY

    Giving Effervescent Nite Relief to a child under 12:

    Relative Contraindication: REYE SYNDROME RISK WITH VIRAL ILLNESS, FEVER, FLU SYMPTOMS.

    Absolute Contraindication: POSSIBLE CNS EXCITATION, CONVULSIONS IN NEWBORNS.
