    Nursing:

    Precaution: LIMITED DATA REPORT INFANT IRRITABILITY AFTER MATERNAL ORAL DOSES

    Precaution: USE NOT RECOMMENDED; LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT SUGGESTS POSSIBLE EXCRETION IN MILK

    Precaution: IRRITABILITY, EXCESSIVE CRYING DOCUMENTED IN INFANTS.

    An adult over 60:

    Precaution: (SOM)(BEERS) ANTICHOLINERGIC.NOT REC. FOR ANXIETY. MAX. 50MG/DAY

    Precaution: MORE SENSITIVE TO CV & CNS EFX; URINARY RETENTION,INSOMNIA

    Precaution: (BEERS)(SOM) DECR.CLR;CAUTION: CV/RENAL/LIVER/PEPTIC ULCER/INSOMNIA

    Giving Regal-Ax to a child under 12:

    Relative Contraindication: SAFETY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN PEDIATRICS NOT ESTABLISHED.

    Warning: DOSE FORM MAY BE INAPPROPRIATE FOR THIS AGE RANGE.

    Warning: CLEARANCE MAY BE REDUCED AGE < 1 YEAR. ADMINISTER WITH CAUTION.

    Absolute Contraindication: DO NOT USE IN AGE < 6 YEARS WITHOUT CLINICIAN CONSULT.

    Relative Contraindication: RISK OF ADVERSE CNS EFFECTS, DROWSINESS OR TREMOR/CONVULSIONS.
