What conditions does Rifadin treat?

Rifadin oral is used to treat the following:

Active Tuberculosis, Inactive Tuberculosis, Treatment to Prevent Meningococcal Meningitis, Colonization with Menigococcus Bacteria without Symptoms of Infection

Rifadin oral may also be used to treat:

Skin Infection caused by Anthrax, Pneumonia caused by the Bacteria Anthrax, Bacterial Stomach or Intestine Infection caused by Anthrax, Infection of the Brain or Spinal Cord caused by Anthrax, Treatment to Prevent Anthrax following Exposure to Disease, Infection due to a Brucella Bacteria, Leprosy due to Multiple Bacteria, Paucibacillary Leprosy, Single Lesion Paucibacillary Leprosy, Leprosy, Infection due to unusual Mycobacteria, Bacterial Infection due to Staphylococcus, Treatment of Staphylococcal Osteomyelitis with More Than One Medication, Prevention of Haemophilus Influenzae Type B
