Possibly Safe: CROSSES PLACENTA;HUMAN AND ANIMAL DATA HAVE SHOWN NO KNOWN EMBRYO/FETAL TOXICITY

Nursing:

Precaution: LIMITED DATA SUGGEST LOW LEVELS EXCRETED; INFANT ABSORPTION UNLIKELY

An adult over 60:

Precaution: INCREASED RISK FOR SEVERE, ACQUIRED/REACTIVATION INFECTIONS AGE>65

Giving Humira subcutaneous to a child under 12:

Relative Contraindication: NOT STUDIED AGE < 4 YRS. RISKS:MALIGNANCY, LYMPHOMA, INFECTION, APPENDICITIS.

Warning: MONITOR FOR POSSIBLE LYMPHOMA/MALIGNANCY/LEUKEMIA. INCREASED INFECTION RATE.
