How the interaction occurs:
Some medicines may slow down how quickly your body processes ruxolitinib.
What might happen:
The amount of ruxolitinib in your blood may increase and cause more or more severe side effects than expected.
What you should do about this interaction:
Make sure your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together. Your doctor may want to adjust the dose of your ruxolitinib while you are taking your other medicine. Let your doctor know right away if you develop any unusual bleeding, bruising, fatigue, shortness of breath, chills, aches, fever, nausea, vomiting, weakness, or a painful rash/blisters.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it.
