How the interaction occurs:
When these two medicines are taken together, the antibiotic may adsorb (bind) to the kaolin.
What might happen:
A decrease in the beneficial effect of your antibiotic may occur.
What you should do about this interaction:
Take your antibiotic at least two hours after kaolin.Your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it.
