How the interaction occurs:
When dairy products are taken with this medicine, they may bind to estramustine and prevent its absorption into your bloodstream.
What might happen:
Your estramustine may not work as well.
What you should do about this interaction:
Take estramustine at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, especially ones with dairy products. Dairy products include milk, cream, yogurt, cheese, ice cream, and some sherberts.Contact your healthcare professional (e.g., doctor or pharmacist) for more information.Your healthcare professionals may be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change your medicine or diet before checking with them first.
