How the interaction occurs:
Your medicine may speed up how quickly your liver processes maraviroc.
What might happen:
The amount of maraviroc in your blood may decrease and it may not work as well against your HIV-infection.
What you should do about this interaction:
Let your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together and of any other medicines that you are taking Your doctor may want to change the dose of your maraviroc, depending on whether or not you are taking any other medicines that can affect the amount of maraviroc in your blood. Let your doctor know if you have any kidney problems, which may make the interaction more severe.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it.
