How the interaction occurs:
Quinidine may oppose the effects of the cholinergic medicine.
What might happen:
The cholinergic medicine may not work as well when taken with quinidine.Quinidine may prevent the slowing down of the heart that may occur with the cholinergic medicine.
What you should do about this interaction:
When taking these medicines together, the cholinergic medicine may not work as well. Contact your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) if you notice your condition getting worse.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
