Both tetrabenazine and reserpine affect chemicals in your brain.
What might happen:
You may experience more side effects than normal. If you are taking reserpine for high blood pressure, your blood pressure may increase.
What you should do about this interaction:
Let your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know right away that you are taking these medicines together or if you have taken reserpine in the previous 20 days. If you are taking reserpine for high blood pressure, monitor your blood pressure when taking these medicines together and let your doctor know if it increases.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
