How the interaction occurs:
Your body turns codeine into morphine. Quinidine may prevent your body from processing codeine into morphine.
What might happen:
If you take codeine and quinidine together, you may have a decreased effect of codeine.
What you should do about this interaction:
If you notice less effects from your codeine, contact your healthcare professional (e.g. doctor or pharmacist).
