Solu-Medrol (PF) IV

How the interaction occurs:

Aprepitant may slow down how quickly your liver processes dexamethasone and methylprednisolone.

What might happen:

Your blood levels of dexamethasone and methylprednisolone may increase and cause harmful effects.

What you should do about this interaction:

If you experience vomiting of blood, black or tarry stools, puffing of the face, swelling of the ankles or feet, unusual weight gain, prolonged sore throat or fever, muscle weakness, breathing difficulties or mood changes, contact your doctor.Your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it.
