How the interaction occurs:
When these two medicines are taken together, your body may not process cyclosporine properly.
What might happen:
Your blood levels of cyclosporine may increase and cause toxic effects to your liver or kidneys.
What you should do about this interaction:
If you experience yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine or pale stools, change in amount of urine, or unusual fatigue, contact your doctor. The dose of your medicines may need adjusting or one may need to be stopped.Your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of the drug interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
