How the interaction occurs:
The cause of the interaction is not known. Cimetidine may increase the effects of carmustine.
What might happen:
An increase in the toxic effects of one or both medicines may occur.

If you experience easy bruising or bleeding, persistent sore throat, fever, or fatigue, contact your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) as soon as possible. They may already be aware of this drug interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
