How the interaction occurs:
The cause of the interaction is not known. When these two medicines are taken together, magnesium trisilicate may prevent your body from absorbing iron properly.
What might happen:
You may experience a decrease in the beneficial effects of iron.
What you should do about this interaction:
If you experience increased weakness or fatigue, contact your doctor.Your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. If your doctor prescribes these medicines together, try to separate the doses as much as possible. Your healthcare professional can help you to schedule your medicines.
