How the interaction occurs:
When these two medicines are taken together there is an increased chance for cyclosporine to cause kidney problems.
What might happen:
You may experience a decrease in kidney function.
What you should do about this interaction:
If you experience mental confusion, blurred vision, fever, sore throat, stomach pain, hearing problems, chest pain, changes in the amount of urine, fatigue, or unusual bleeding or bruising, contact your doctor. It may be necessary to change you to a different medicine.Your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
