Conivaptan may slow down how quickly your liver processes digoxin.
What might happen:
The level of digoxin in your body may increase and cause more side effects than normal.
What you should do about this interaction:
Let your healthcare professional (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking both of these medications together. Your doctor may want to check the amount of digoxin in your blood.Contact your healthcare professional if you experience slow or irregular heart beat. The dose of your medicine my need adjusting. You may be more likely to experience effects from this interaction if you have liver problems or are elderly.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it.
