Ticagrelor may slow down how quickly your body processes your cholesterol medicine.
What might happen:
The amount of lovastatin or simvastatin in your body may increase and cause more side effects than normal.

Make sure your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together. Contact your healthcare professional if you experience muscle weakness, aches, tenderness, or pain, flu-like symptoms, or discoloration of your urineYour healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it.
