Raloxifene acts like estrogen in certain parts of your body.

What might happen:

Taking estrogen with raloxifene increases the risk of side effects.

What you should do about this interaction:

Let your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together. Your doctor may want to change one of your medicines. Let your doctor know if you have any hot flashes, sweating, leg cramps, leg swelling or pain, trouble breathing, chest pain, or vision changes.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it.
