Methadone/QT Prolonging Agents
How the interaction occurs:
Methadone can affect your heart's rhythm. Other drugs can have the same effect.
What might happen:
Taking methadone with other agents that can affect your heart rhythm may may increase your risk of an irregular heartbeat, which may be life-threatening. The risk may be higher if you are taking larger doses of methadone.
