I was prescribed this medication for muscle spasms in my back, legs, and feet. Sometimes it makes me very sleepy, other times it just relaxes me. Sometimes I think I hallucinate, have heard someone speak to me that wasn't there. And definately have the dry mouth. And also gives me constipation. Overall the drug is working but the side effects are disturbing.

Comment:
I recently had knee replacement surgery. In going through my physical therapy I started to experience a knotting sensation in the upper part of the thigh right in the muscle. I had to stop therapy and give the muscle a break. My doctor perscribed zanaflex to help ease the spasms.
