I have been on this medication for 6 days and have gained 12 pounds. I have major joint pain, which is drowning out the headaches I'm still having. I guess that would be good? Neuro Dr. won't call back after 3 days of calling...

Started this drug in the ER 8 months ago. Had a full blown migraine and was given a shot. Blood pressure apparently climbs with such a severe headache. I feel like it has caused drug-induced Lupus symptoms. Fatigue. Constant pains in muscles, joints and back- pain radiating down my legs, especially at night. So many nights waking up in a cold sweat. i have been on this med for 3.5 years it has given me my life back. i was having severe headaches every day for over a month with vomiting. now i may have one minor headache a month.

I started using this medication to prevent my complicated migraines. I have only been on it for 2 weeks and I have not gotten a migraine, so far so good. I did at first experience dizziness so I started to take the 60mg at bedtime and it seemed to do the trick. I hope I do not have the side effects that people are listed in their reviews.
