I had small wart on the shaft of my penis, used this gel twice a day for three days. My wart turned black and scabby and then fell off. After applying get it burned, but was nothing too painful. I suspect that many of the people claiming lots of pain were using it on more sensitive areas? If this is for warts on your penis it just burns and is nothing you can't handle.

I had a bump really close to the vaginal opening, very sensitive skin. I believe women experience a lot more pain than men based on these reviews because it's impossible to see where the gel is going, perhaps I've applied too much. The first 3 days were ok, no change, but not a lot of pain either. The second week I applied again for 3 days and by the 3rd day here I was crying just attempting to...

I am a 27 male with a sudden outbreak of GW around my anus. Panicking, as I’ve never experienced this before in my life since I’m not too active sexually and always perform safe sex, I called my doctor. He then prescribed me with this podofilox solution to combat the wart growth. I did extensive research before using the solution so I know to only dab it on the wart. However, as the wart is around my anal hole and might possibily a bit inside the anal, it’s really hard to not miss dabbing the solution on to healthy skin. First day usage morning and evening: felt nothing. The wart turned white, but no huge pain. Day two usage: The area starts to burn and sting a bit, but was still tolerable. Day three however was the worst (as I thought). My anus felt super sore and raw. Occasional burning and stinging sensation that were so painful I couldn’t even sit down. I had to lay down with my legs open wide so that the but cheeks do not touch each other. Day four (first rest day): The excruciating pain is still there but I notice that most of the warts are visibly gone! I still can see some warts inside the anal but I don’t think I’d use the solution for the ones inside. Might opt for a laser therapy if it does not heal within the 3rd cycle. Tl;dr: Hurts like hell but works like a charm. Think of it as a punishment for not taking care of yourself properly lolRead More Read Less

I think I applied this medication (Condylox solution) wrong so my experience was the most severe pain to have felt in my life. I had very tiny perianal warts like little dots everywhere around the area, so I just spread the condylox solution everywhere instead of on each dot. I focused mainly on the slightly larger ones maybe too heavily which resulted in my skin burning off on day 2. I could not walk or sit or sleep but because I was travelling as well I had to do all of those things so the pain went to my head and I became extremely dizzy and nauseous some abdominal pains but mostly concentrated on the skin. I think the larger ones were situated on a fissure and thats what made it pretty intense. So I have alot of raw skin and it looks like the inside of ones lip very red and swollen. On the bright side all the tiny dots disappeared painlessly on day 2 but yeah most of solution was concentrated on the larger ones. I would not recommend to do anything I did. For treatment of larger warts I would say take time off, Im not sure how I will go back to work waddling like a duck, at least 2 weeks. Also use the solution to only dot each wart individually and you dont have to continue the full course of the treatment. I used the treatment on myself once for 3 days and in my situation it was more than enough for tiny warts. I do a warm bath at least once a day for no less than 20 minutes especially after bowel movements it’s highly important to keep yourself clean for healing. The medication also causes a discharge which smells like fish. In my case it wasnt alot but its a little everyday and I wear a pad and change it regularly. Its also helpful to cushion the area. I use coconut oil and vaseline after baths however the coconut oil is a must if you have broken skin like me. I dont believe the vaseline does much to heal the skin but its thicker than coconut oil and can make you more comfortable. Read More Read Less

I used this medication for 3 days 2 times per day. I had around 15 small warts around my anus and perineum. I applied them only on the warts, maybe just a tiny bit around them accidentally on healthy skin. I started to feel the pain on the second day (and the warts become bigger). On the third day it was unbearable pain... I rarely cry, but I did on every day for a week. Now I'm on the 9th day and it became significantly less painful but still uncomfortable. I pooped like 1 time on that week and it was soooo painful, like I don't know if I ever felt worse pain after that procedure with rinsing my anus with water and air drying it, not to mention the pooping process. On the third day the tissue around my anus and literally my asshole, my perineum and a little bit upper become a huge white area. White and extremely painful. I couldn't sit, walk, even turn side when sleeping without experiencing the pain. As I said it was totally white and painful, and then I applied bepanthen, which I think made it better. After a few days I started to use bepanthen it started to have a really awful odor, like REALLY AWFUL and then it peeled. Now its totally peeled and healing, its red but I see it will be okay. I'm on the 9th day after the first dosage and I don't see the warts and my skin suprisingly regenerated pretty fast. I also had a really bad constipation and I got an anal fissure/hemorrhage, Idk but since I couldn't poop a lot and damaged my skin maybe its caused the bloody stool and very very painful pooping in the last few days. If you use this medication just do it VERY WISELY and don't be afraid, you will be okay. Be optimistic, you will be okay. I know how it feels like to have genital warts and how long and painful process can be to get rid of them. Boost your immune system, get the vaccine and treat them. Just fight with it and don't feel less because of these little shits, you are still the same and after you get rid of them , that will be the best feeling ever. I wish everyone good luck and a lot of hope about fighting against these little shits.Read More Read Less

I have 2 really small warts just near the opening of my vagina. I’m on day 3 today and no pain, no stinging or discomfort. I had a mild irritation on my second day of applying but like a 1 out of 10 pain wise. I used the applicator stick to dab 2 dots on each wart and so far so good. I have not had burning or scabbing like others experienced but I did use a hand mirror and put a tiny dot on each application, it didn’t take much drying as I didn’t put a lot on. My warts are kind of dissolving and hardly visible now. Hopefully on the next few rest days they will be gone completelyRead More Read Less

I was skeptical after unsuccessful usage of Imiquimod, but I had a good experience with Condylox. The pain on my skin was similar to a really bad sunburn. I used the tip of my finger to make sure everything was covered. Within 48 hours the smaller warts flattened and within a week, the larger ones flaked off. I tried a second round just to be on the safe side, but quit after 2 days because of headache, nausea and insomnia. It was pretty intense. Maybe I used too much? Anyway, it's been two weeks now and so far so good. Really grateful for this product, but the side effects were not fun. One note, I quit alcohol and sugar to boost my immune system during all this after reading some studies and talking to my doctor about it.Read More Read Less

I had two clusters of on each side of my penis along the head ridge. I did one treatment 3 consecutive days about 8 hours apart (not the 12 as directed). Heed the warning from others about letting it dry or use a hair dry blower. It will burn if the gel gets onto non infected skin and burn the skin raw. This happened to me. But i was able to withstand the discomfort. After four days (but only 3 with treatment) the warts disappeared. It took about another 5 days for the burnt raw skin to heal. All in all, it was worth the discomfort. I was happy with the results. Read More Read Less

I used it the way you are support to for 3 months with very little results. Then I over applied one week and then I noticed some result. I just finished my 2nd week and they seem to be about 60% gone. these warts are very stubborn. The best is prevention I never did when I was younger but now that I'm 60 2 out 3 women have something! Use a condom!

I had a big wart on the glans of the penis. The most painful area. It took me four rounds of treatment, four weeks, but the wart was completely dissolved. It doesn’t fall off, it gets dissolved away. I was able to withstand the pain. It was well worth it.

I usually run to my dermatologist and have cryotherapy for GW outbreaks, as I obsess over them--constantly looking at my warts with a flashlight, depressed. But cyrotherapy takes a month to heal fully and 3-6 more for the skin to return to normal color. I wanted another option besides Aldara, which gave me sores, and taking 6 capsules of AHCC daily did not help me. Condylox worked great for me--in one week. I had 6 small, pink warts on my penis in different areas and used the included applicator to apply the gel. I started to see real results at applications 4-6, with some redness on and around the area, inflammation and scabbiness. One area had the skin get flaky and raw around the wart with a tiny amount of blood, but that was minimal and healed quickly. Not much pain or stinging. Most areas did not get raw. By day 4 of the healing cycle, most of the redness was gone as were all the warts! I only had to do one treatment cycle and was fully healed after another week of healing. Be sure to allow the gel to dry fully before putting on underwear (I used a hair dryer on cool air to help it along). I have insurance at it was $50 for a tube, which will last a long time. I recommend this product. Read More Read Less

THIS GEL HURTS ! The first time using it I cried all day and night with the little ability to move walk and even bathe correctly. I stopped after the second day I couldnâ??t tolerate it anymore ...... until the fourth day or so I noticed bleeding and realized they were coming off. Then I knew this medication was powerful and very effective. I received my second dosage and now that I know what Iâ??m in for I take acetaminophen twice a day and I bare the pain because I know itâ??s worth it. Iâ??d rather go through that pain for four to five days than having them when I get married. It really works guys.Read More Read Less

I was diagnosed with HPV a week ago. I've started my first cycle two days ago. It is a bit hard to apply when you're by yourself since you can't see the whole area, but with a mirror you're all good. Today's my 3rd day using it and I find it EXTREMELY effective. However, it does burn a whole lot and sometimes I get dizzy and have troubles sleeping because of the pain. Walking and moving is also hard for me. Though my warts are slowly disappearing. Highly recommended but huge warning it BURNS.

I had a total of 16 warts some were around the base of my penis and some on the shaft. I used the solution not the gel. It worked very well. After 3 weeks all warts were gone and the skin healed. I applied the solution then used a blow dryer to dry it quicker. There was a good amount of burning at times but you know I would of withstood any pain to rid of these. If any come back I will defenitly use this solution again. Hope this post helps.

Could not write better things about this! While it was a little uncomfortable to put on and it burned a little (nothing unbearable for me) I only used two days and all my warts are gone! Expensive but worth it if your warts are really causing you trouble! I recommend highly!!

I was diagnosed with hpv about a week ago and the. I stared the treatment. First of all because it's hard to get to the warts in the foods I ended up with the gel on my healthy skin. The burning is crazy and it hurts so much. Im not too sure if my tears is for the fact that I have the virus or for the pain that comes with the treatment. Anyways it area became very white and I am now on my 4 days of rest. They did shrink a bit I think but I'll keep you guys updated.

This stuff works. And fast. But, you pay for that effectiveness in spades. I had between 50 and 60 warts on and around my genitals, the biggest clusters being right in joint of my leg and groin. I applied this stuff and...well, it was a lot like putting napalm on your crotch and letting it dry. Super intense pain. After 3 days of treatment, i could barely walk and had burns and sores all over. BUT, around 20 warts had already disappeared. My advice is to take your time. Never use it more than 3 days in a row, take your full 4 days of rest (or more if you feel you need it). Try to apply the gel only to the wart, cause this stuff can and WILL burn through your skin.Read More Read Less

Aside from the shame and embarrassment of this condition, this is a horrifying treatment. My daughter, who is a nursing student applied the gel to my warts and then used a hair dryer to completely dry the area. I treated twice a day as prescribed and each treatment, the burning and pain got worse. Some warts came off the second day of treatment, but none since. Ever since the 4th day of treatment, (no gel applied) every time I urinate, it feels like I am pouring alcohol all over my labia. Trying to decide if I will continue treatment.Read More Read Less

I had a bump really close to the vaginal opening, very sensitive skin. I believe women experience a lot more pain than men based on these reviews because it's impossible to see where the gel is going, perhaps I've applied too much. The first 3 days were ok, no change, but not a lot of pain either. The second week I applied again for 3 days and by the 3rd day here I was crying just attempting to shower. Even during the 4-day rest I wasn't able to wipe or wash the area. It was swollen and bleeding. I swore I wouldn't start the 3rd round but after 5 days of rest I started again because I really want this to go away. I guess I'll enlist the help of my partner to apply the gel, it seems key to NOT get it on the healthy skin...Mine is so small, I really don't see why it isn't gone yet. Read More Read Less
