I was afraid of the pain but I would by no means call it intolerable. Putting the gel on really only stung a little. But after the second day of treatments I started to get very sore. I couldn't bring myself to do the last treatment on the third day. But I was amazed when I looked by the end of the fourth day. They were all gone! And I had a lot over a large area. Granted, there was some bleeding and definite soreness but in my opinion, if it works, it's worth it. And I'm sure it isn't any worse than having them cut off. Plus I have the added benefit of being able to attack them by myself whenever they come back. There were some good tips on here for using Condylox: use the applicator tip and Q-tips to make sure you only put it directly on the warts. Better to err on the side of using too little than too much. Use a hairdryer to dry the area before getting dressed or moving around. Take ibuprofen while you're on it. And neosporin with the added pain killer is great to use on your off treatment days. On a side note, I don't have health insurance and the tube ran me about $450. I know it's expensive but I still saved money in the long run over constantly going to the doctor's office for treatments. And you really use very very little of it.

I had three clusters of bumps on my labia. For the 3 days on it burned...bad. It is now the 4th day and the skin has turned white and the warts are now smoothing away. The pain is more unexpected than anything else. I think it hurts so bad because I have never felt that kind of pain before. I had small wart on the shaft of my penis, used this gel twice a day for three days. My wart turned black and scabby and then fell off. After applying get it burned, but was nothing too painful. I suspect that many of the people claiming lots of pain were using it on more sensitive areas? If this is for warts on your penis it just burns and is nothing you can't handle.

This stuff is amazingg!!!! I got cryotherapy twice and it actually made it worse so my dr. Gave me condylox to use, it was 30 dollars if you have kieser and your copay is 15. if you have days where you don't have to do anything or you'll be at home id recommend using it on those days. I put it on with a q tip but I put extreme bare min. 3 times a day and I DID NOT RUB IT IN. I dabbed it with the q ... Show Full Comment

It didn't sting until I got up but I lounged on the couch for a good couple hours and I didn't feel a thing. I did this for the 3 days and I saw extreme improvement.. the rest days all the warts fell off and trust me.. I had a lot. It made my skins extremly dry though and cracked. I had a few lesions but I put neosporn with pain relief on it and it helped a lot. I didn't feel anything at all. All the side effects and the pain are seriously a small price to pay for getting rid of your warts in just 3 days.. I def. Recommend this for anyone that has warts..
