10 mg at night for occipital nerve problem. headache reduced by 90%. Side affects are the reason I stopped taking it. Thirsty all the time, problems sleeping and no monthly cycle and no sex drive. I'll go back to Baclofen and Advil.

I take this pill because I get migraines. I've been taking them for about 14 years. I used to take 2 a day, but now I take them only when I get a migraine. sometimes it's only once or twice a month.

I had been taking ibuprofen (the only medication that would take the edge of my pain) for over 30 years. I know it is bad for my liver and other organs, so I inquired into other means of pain management. Nortriptyline was prescribed to me and within 3-4 weeks the pain was managed and I was a happy patient.
