I'm in my second week and i hate it. when i apply it my eyes water, kinda like when you get around menthol. it normally itches for the first couple of minutes. when it dries it flakes and peels like glue does after it has dried on your skin. doc says this is normal......

I wanted a medication that would be safe in the event of pregnancy, so my dr pulled me off clindamycen gel and azelaic acid topicals and gave me the erythromycen topical. Hated it! Worse breakouts and terrible flaking peeling skin - not even a moisturizer helped counteract it. Using nothing at all was better than this stuff.

i'm 36 with oily skin. do not have chronic acne, just here and there. i've tried salicilic acid, benzoil peroxide, and so on... they've all worked fine, but this gel formula which was prescribed by my dermatologist, worked for me the best.
