i have been taking 50mg a night for 2 weeks and it is not doing anything to help me fall asleep. I will take it and lay in bed for hours before I finally drift off to sleep. Going to give it another 2 weeks because it can take up to 4 weeks to be fully in your system. That's when you know whether you are going to benefit from the medication or not. So far it has been a NOT.

I've tried taking it at 10 pm, but didn't kick in until 2 am, take at 1:30 am, not kicking in until 4:30 am. Then I sleep till 9 or 10 am, but can't wake up enough to get up, so fall back asleep immediately and sleep till 12 to 1 pm. Get up to eat somethin ... Show Full Comment

Have used for over 3 years and find it very helpful for chronic insomnia. No after effects and no drowsy wake up. It continues to work after years.
