I have had some Viagra side effects (which were nice) but also have muscle weakness and fatigue (which is not good) Medicine did what I wanted (put me to sleep) but due to the side effects (the second group) I am probably will discontinue use. I am going to give it another week to see if they get more manageable

I have untreatable ADHD with seizures & a full hysterectomy 5+ years ago. All combined, a nights 'rest' is impossible. (Depression is treated seperatly with a morning med.) Meanwhile 150mg's & years later still no more than 2-3 hrs of sleep at night straight. Never falling asleep with ease. Any noise I'm WIDE AWAKE! Began taking about 3 months ago for chronic insomnia... Began with 50mg but had to cut back to 25mg to prevent the trazadone hangover in the morning. Works wonderfully, I'm usually asleep within the hour, and no longer awake numerous times throughout the night.

I was originally prescribed Trazodone when I began going through menopause 16 years ago. I was unable to sleep due to severe night sweats, and was crying uncontrollably during waking hours.
