I had tried other meds, none worked. Trazodone works. I get to sleep easily and still wake sometimes but I can go back to sleep easily. I had been having consistent mild depression and it worked wonders for this. I was very hesitant to take some of the anti-depressants because I had heard a lot of horror stories. I guess I kind of back doored into this one. It works and I have very few side effect ... Show Full Comment

I have been on trazodone for several years due to chronic sleepless nights. It has been a life saver! I don't have the hangovers I had with Ambien, and the results far outweigh the side effects. I've been on Trazodone 100mg since July,08. Seemed to work at first, but really lost it's effect since I first started taking it. I suffered from poor sleep and nightmares that made my pulse race. Trazodone made the nightmares worse, very scary dreams.I've cut the dose down to 50 mg and seem to do better, I want to ease off this stuff. I will see my doctor in a few days I believe I wou ... I had been having trouble staying asleep for 10 years. I went to a sleep specialist for 1.5 years and between my insurance and myself, spent thousands of dollars for NOTHING! What a waste of time and money! My regular doctor had me try trazodone and I have been sleeping so much better. I don't have any problems with morning 'hang-overs' at all. It is also very reasonable. I get a 90 da ... Show Full Comment
