I had been having trouble staying asleep for 10 years. I went to a sleep specialist for 1.5 years and between my insurance and myself, spent thousands of dollars for NOTHING! What a waste of time and money! My regular doctor had me try trazodone and I have been sleeping so much better. I don't have any problems with morning 'hang-overs' at all. It is also very reasonable. it seemed to work alright. my sleep was almost normal and i didn't feel sluggish or anything the next day. if i was having a manic spell, i'd wake up promptly between 6 1/2 hrs to 7 hrs later. but if i had to wake up before it wore off, i'd feel a bit disoriented and dizzy, and have to have someone walk with me to the bathroom if i got up at night. but overall, not bad.
